How hard can it be? They are just words...

Lyrics

Naaman

I was feeling holy, feeling righteous, feeling meek.

Overwehlmed the Lord's will to seek.

I said, "call me to my purpose!"

He said, "I've called you to mine."

I said, "Oh that's right." He said "Yes."

I said, "Send me I will go."

He said, "You're where you need to be."

I said, "I could do so much more!"

He said, "Yes,.......... right there."

And I guess I felt like Naaman,

expecting some great thing.

But the Lord would purify me

in this one thing.

I said "a vessel make of me."

He said "I already have,

"You need better eyes of faith to see".

I said "Take this thorn from me."

He said " My grace is sufficient for thee."

I said "Yes, that's right. " He Said "Yes."

It's the lesson of Naaman

Expecting some great thing.

But God chose how to heal,

the mighty warrior of the King.

I felt just defeated.

My righteousness just rags.

I said "This is truth? He said "Yes".

I said "I can't hope in myself."

He said "That's why I died for you."

"Enter in to my rest."

Open your eyes of faith, close your eyes of sight.

My everlasting arm, none of your own might.

It's the lesson of Naaman

Expecting some great thing.

But God chose how to heal,

the mighty warrior of the King.
