Lyrics
Life's roadGood luck may not follow me around, but there's still some lucky things I think I've found. But I wonder how much different our lives would be if we could see through tomorrow's mystery. I wonder how much different it would be to you....... and to me, as we travel down, travel down life's road. We each bear our own burdens and carry our own load. And even if we're standing still, life is still passing us by, time keeps marching on, we're sowing seeds as we go, as we travel down, life's road. If you're lucky be thankful my friend. Maybe you'll stay lucky till the end. But I wonder about the things we do, the paths we choose and our destinies, And I wonder if it's all left up to you...... and to me, as we travel down, travel down life's road. Shouldn't we share our burdens just to lighten our own load? And even if we're standing still, life is still passing us by, time keeps marching on, as the seeds we've sown they grow, as we travel down, life's road. I can't stand still anymore. So I'm reaching out to open that door. And I wonder what may lie behind, all the things I fear and the ones I hope to find, I wonder if it matters at all to you........ and to me, as we travel down, travel down life's road. I'll help you bear your burdens if you'll helpme carry my load. So let's quit standing still, can't you see, life is still passing us by, time waits for no one and we reap what we have sown, as we travel down, travel down, life's road........ together but alone. In the same boat but setting different sails, on the same train but on separate rails. Riding the same horse in different meadows. It's the same game but with different rules. Do we go insane, 'cause of the ones we choose? I think some of us are gonna explode......as we go down life's road. There's white lines, yellow lines and red lines too. And they all have something to tell you. 'Cause on life's road there's signs that try to hide, 'cause life's road is a twisty, tipsy, topsy turvy ride!
