How hard can it be? They are just words...

Lyrics

In tune

Grains from the sands of time in my bed.

Grains of truth sifting through my head.

Maybe it's all too much, and too soon.

But I'm staying in touch. Yeah I'm in tune.

There's things I've done and things I wish I'd never said.

Gems of truth lay uncovered in my head.

Jewels of hope that glisten off sand dunes.

And notes of a soul that ring out in tune.

Chorus

            My heart cry something different.

My heart it cry at the moon.

            My heart cry independent.

But my heart cries in tune.

A rainbow, different colors but one smooth curved line.

A separation real and yet so sublime.

I'll fix it later 'cause right now it's all we got.

We cater to the have's not the have not's.

And if you think someone's giving away what you really need.

Go pick it up for free and plant that seed.

You can have nothing or hold the silver spoon.

But it don't mean nothing unless you cry in tune.

Chorus

The rains from this mortal roof fall on my head.

A distant echo of all that's ever been said.

A noise blares constant and eclipses the moon.

But each drop of life falls right in tune.
