| Lyrics
I'm watching the sun fall, and thinking about it all.
I'm watching the sun rise, looking for the light in your eyes.
And I'm watching how you move, underneath these skies.
I'm watching what you do, as I tear off my disguise.
And I'm watching in the mirror. I'm looking through the windows of my soul.
And I can see the fear, as time reaps and takes it's toll.
But other things I can see so clear,
as I gaze into my little black hole.
Into the pupil of my eye I peer,
I'm watching through the windows of my soul.
And I'm watching you and I'm watching me, and I wonder how much I can really see.
And I'm watching us and I'm watching them, and I wonder where have we all been.
And I'm watching out and I'm watching in, I'm watching for me and you my friend.
And I'm watching you watching me, and I'm watching what I let you see.
And I'm watching your eyes, I'm looking through the windows of your soul.
And I can see through your disguise, and when you're not in control.
And other things I see too,
as I look into your little black hole.
A reflection of me that tells me that you too,
Are watching through the windows of your soul.
Don't look away that's just a disguise,
Come over here and let's go eye to eye.
I will take down the walls I put up before,
and you can try to open that door.
An eye to eye is more like a heart to heart
if there's nothing to hide from the start.
And heart to heart is something we can all control
if we're watching through the windows of our soul.
