Lyrics
Handle with careOnce upon these plains, millions of buffalo roamed, and once within this forest, the foliage wasn't burned. But someone came and took that all away. I guess if you don't know how big the universe is you,d think this place went forever. Besides we're so much smarter now, but are we any more clever? Because now we can see for light years and we still see nothing there, I guess we better start to heed all of nature's signs, that say..... handle with care. Once upon a time, this lake was clear, and not too long ago, the rain was nothing to fear. But something happened and we blew it all away. I guess if you can't see tomorrow all that matters is today. And if our greed is our guide then we're well on our way. We can have all these things but there's a burden we're gonna bear, If we don't start to heed all of nature's signs, that say..... handle with care. Once I was a little child and the world seemed so immense, but now I can see it all and what we're doing don't make no sense. If something doesn't happen soon we're gonna blow the sky away! And I guess if you're too busy to let any of this bother you, then I've wasted my breath and there's nothing more I can do. But I'll let you answer the children and their very puzzled stare, when they ask why we never heeded nature's signs, that say..... handle with care.
