Fairy tales no more

Fairy tales no more

We left our mommy's rocker, all in for a big shocker.

Cause there's fairy tales no more, and questions from the realm.

That's partially ambiguous, and meant to be,
Our realms are each contiguous,
upon what we choose to see.

My realm is subconscious,
illusion no doubt,
with just a pinch of reality, to turn the world inside out.

Inside out!

And Mama I'm calling you from somewhere, I thought I'd never be. I'm lost out here in neverland, with plenty of company.

We're looking for happy ever after, behind all life's doors,
but we lost the joy and the laughter,
and what we found, is fairy tales no more.

From the realm I send this postcard,
I'm sending you a song. I'm sending you my heart,
will you keep it, and for how long?

Mommy it's a great big world, and there's plenty of toys,
but it's fairy tales no more, for all your little girls and boys,
whose world is inside out. Inside out.

And Mama I'm calling you from somwhere,
I think you probably know well.
It's the same place that put those tears in your eyes all those years ago.
And Mama I'm finding all those things you tried so hard not to let me see.

The same answers that were here for you are left here for me.
Fairy tales no more.

We all left our mommy's rockers, in for a big shocker,
Now there's fairy tales no more,
and just questions from the realm.
